POWER2X Green Hydrogen EPC turnkey project
HEBOproject is currently managing the development, planning and construction (EPC) of one of the first scaled Power2X facilities able to produce green hydrogen from wind and provide grid services. The project is located at Zealand in Denmark, has just achieved Final Investment Decision and is planned to go into operation in 2023.
The facility will consist of wind turbines, batteries, electrolyzers and an advanced controller system. The aim is to demonstrate the ability to optimize the utilization of wind energy to produce hydrogen and support the grid when needed.
HEBOproject is leading the turnkey project at the customers location and manage all internal stakeholders, resources as well as external parties involved in the project.

Gunfleet Sands 3 Demo Wind Farm – Offshore in the UK
Year: 2012
Responsible project manager for the engineering, procurement and construction of the first prototypes of the, at that time world’s largest, 6 MW wind turbines offshore. The project was executed in partnership with DONG Energy and A2SEA and their new build installation vessel – Sea Installer.
A pioneer project which required the ability to structure the many unknowns and challenges in such an innovative project across Europe with teams in Denmark, Germany and the UK.

Implementation of a Global Project Management Office
Year: 2017
Established an international project management department including processes with profit & loss responsibility for 50 international projects and a project portfolio with a total budget of 250 mDKK.
Recruited and led a team of 5 senior PMs, 5 PMs and project coordinators. Introduced new process
es and created transparency in the project portfolio.

Anzetel Wehlens test Wind farm
Year: 2014
Responsible project manager for the engineering, procurement and construction of the first 6 MW prototype wind turbines in Germany for Bio Energie Nord.
The largest turbines installed in Germany with a total height of 195 meters. The turbines were made for offshore deployment but sold to an onshore test park and therefore presented huge challenges during transport and lifting due to their size.

Education program for Project employees
Year: 2011
Developed, trained and evaluated up to 100 project managers, project participants and steering committee members through multi day programs.
The trainings were done off site with various role plays to simulate real project challenges for the participants. All trainings were followed up by on-the-job evaluations and coaching session to ensure implementation.
This program was done in partnership with Volk Education with whom HEBOproject has close collaboration with through many years.

Project reporting and status concept
Year: 2018
Implemented a new process and visual board setup as a communication and status platform between project managers, management and stakeholders to ensure transparency and fast escalation for the project portfolio.
The solution was based on HEBOprojects’ own concept with visualizations boards, templates, guidelines etc.

Hywind Scotland – Worlds first floating offshore wind farm
Year: 2015
Responsible project manager. Completed the planning phase of the engineering, procurement and construction of 5 x 6MW floating wind turbines erected on floating foundations in Norway and towed to Scotland for anchorage.
